Walmart was able to limit worker pay raises to only $1 per hour. This is in spite of making a record $152.1 billion in revenues. The raise, amounting to about $1.5 million in total, is a minuscule 1.33% compared to the $112 million paid to Execs in 2020. Why is it so low? Monopoly power.
